Neurotoxins

Mainly used to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and lines, especially in the upper face, like the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (crow’s feet). Neuromodulators also slow the aging of the skin. Common names for Neurotoxins include Botox and Dysport. The effects typically last about 3-4 months. Regular treatments are needed to maintain the effect.

Dermal Fillers

Primarily used to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, or enhance facial contours. Common areas treated include lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. The effects of dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to over a year, depending on the type of filler used and the area treated.

Injectable Biostimulators

Think Sculptra or Radiesse. They’re used for restoring facial volume, improving skin texture, and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. They are especially effective for deeper facial lines and volume loss. The effects of biostimulatory fillers can last up to 2 years or more, as they not only provide immediate volume but also improve skin quality over time.
